Free Online Learning How To Code

Hollywood and Silicon Valley are bullish on artificial intelligence (AI). It has led to growing awareness of the potential that AI will bring to industries in a wide range of fields.

Even more online learning material is making its way to the masses. The latest offering includes Online Free Rebound courses that you can get taught by Christine O’Donnell, an internet sensation.

Last Friday, O’Donnell released a free online course offering on how to create online videos for programming apps and games. She has gained a lot of notoriety over the last few months due to the videos and has received thousands of likes and shares on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She has learned that millions of people across the world are being exposed to her talents which is becoming an educational force in online learning and promotional endeavors.

I have been watching as Ms. O’Donnell grows in popularity. This past Sunday she was featured in an episode of Secrets of Hacks with Jesse Rapino. She is also a big part of a traveling show called The Girl Guides: Missing In America which started in October and is running across the country. But of course, all of this is unassisted by her. If you want to be involved, this course is free and currently available. All you need to do is download the links to Get Started online. There are eight courses available.

The Internet that You Grow Up with

Ms. O’Donnell’s ability to excel at online courses is indeed impressive, but it also is another indication of the Internet’s reach. The sites mentioned above are a great example of what the Internet is capable of when we use it the right way. I was a Generation X guy growing up. When I was younger, the internet was a great way to keep up on what was happening in the world. But as the number of options for information grew, the Internet started to take on a different meaning for us.

When I was younger, I sat in high school studying hard and trying to get good grades. School was always my primary focus, but like many young people, I found myself drawn to a world where my peers were having fun (learning on the side). So how did I help my classmates out? I’d pull them aside and show them an online game like World of Warcraft. I figured out a way to create mini-games that were far more entertaining and more innovative than any real game could have been. I taught my peers how to play these games and they still talk about them today.

Even the sites I wrote for in the high school would get more traffic than some of the popular high school papers. Yes, they were getting readers, but their content was more interesting than the paper I wrote. It turned out I was onto something, and to some degree, I am still on something. The internet has the power to give you more content and more users than you could have ever imagined. It’s only a matter of time before those new visitors don’t leave.

The Curse of Popularity

Now all of a sudden, millions of people are able to get notifications about my various social media posts. To those that know me well, you know that I will always put myself in harm’s way to promote or defend my beliefs. So what does this mean for me? In some cases, friends that know me from my past will be reading my posts that are similar to posts I have done in the past. This is a small price to pay for going viral in my own right, but it is a new and unique challenge for me to overcome. I’ve been struggling to figure out how to respond to all of this newfound online support because it can feel very overwhelming. So I am going to teach a few of the tricks and tips that I have learned, but also may have been given to me by others. I am thankful for the good that has come out of being online, but I will always be nervous about what may happen in the future. Good luck, internet, and stay smart.
